Blind People get stronger with Weight Lifting and Body Sculpting Workouts
Our Sculpting with Weights Audio Programs are designed specifically for the blind and visually impaired. We currently offer two levels. However, in each level you can increase the weight as you increase your strength. Please read the short descriptions to help you decide which workout or workouts are right for you. Consider purchasing both levels so you can transition easily from one to the other when you are ready.
Barre Method Level One
This workout will absolutely change the way you feel about your body. It will change your shape and you will feel long and lean. You will need a sturdy chair or piece of furniture. You may purchase a barre but it is not mandatory. You will want light hand weights and a mat or carpeted area. This workout can be done as a whole or in segments according to your preference. I do half one day and the rest the next day.
Sculpting with Weights Level One
Requires hand weights or other equally weighted objects, 2 pairs of different weights, an exercise mat or padded surface for floor work, a sturdy chair, supportive shoes, and just a few feet of clear space. Can be easily modified to your level of fitness.
Sculpting with Weights Level Two
Requires hand weights or other equally weighted objects, 2 pairs with different weight, a sturdy chair for balance, an exercise mat or soft surface for floor exercises, supportive shoes, and a few feet of clear space. This workout works multiple muscle groups at the same time and is more intense than Level one.
Requires the correct size stability ball, a few feet of clear space, hand weights, and an exercise mat or carpeted area for floor work: This is a fun total body workout. It tones, sculpts, and promotes flexibility.
